New Volunteer

We offer a variety of ways for you to get involved with Camp Courage. We need counselors and CREW members. Counselors are responsible for leading, helping, and encouraging a cabin of 4-5 campers with at least one other counselor. This position requires 24-hr monitoring of your campers. There are minimal physical requirements and counselors must be at least 16-years-old.

CREW members are typically youth between the age of 12-16. These volunteers will have moderate physical work such as setting up tables, moving boxes, helping with dishes, leading games and activities. The CREW team is led by an adult and monitored by the directors. They typically sleep in a cabin with other campers and volunteers but are not in any way responsible for providing care to the campers. 

All volunteers planning on staying overnight must complete our volunteer application and reference checks. All volunteers responsible for the safety and care of campers or youth must complete a background screening.
